The upper platen is provided with self-aligning action. To facilitate testing of various size specimens, adjusting wheel is provided.

Pumping Unit:
The two speed pump facilitates rapid approach of the platens for daylight closure and also proovides comprehensive control over the application of load. AA control valvee provides fine control over the looading rate for accuracy of paacing.

The digital read-out unit, incorporates a 4-digit display, callibrated in kN .

The upper platen is provided with self-aligning action. To facilitate testing of various size specimens, adjusting wheel is provided.

Pumping Unit:
The two speed pump facilitates rapid approach of the platens for daylight closure and also provides comprehensive control over the application of load. A control valve provides fine control over the loading rate for accuracy of pacing.

The loads are measured on the Bourdon tube type load gauges which are calibrated against certified proving rings. The load gauges are fitted with a maximum load pointer.

The load gauge is fitted with micro switches to switch-off the motor when the load approaches the maximum capacity of the gauge, to avoid any over-loading. Relays are incorporated so that the motor does not restart on its own after a power breakdown. A manual pump is also housed in the control unit to operate the machine in case of power failure.
